15 years from the date the product is delivered or collected.
That for the duration of the warranty period the Fibo System:
- Will remain watertight;
- Will not crack or delaminate; and
- Will not discolour; subject to
The products being fitted in accordance with the Fibo installation instructions and that it is reasonably maintained.
The warranty is subject to a to fair wear and tear policy and assumes that all panel corners, Aqualock joints and exposed edges are properly sealed.
The purchaser must ensure that the panels are thoroughly inspected prior to installation and must immediately notify Sourcecorp of any:
- Damage to the panels or profiles; and
- Defects or flaws in the décor including colour shading.
If installed by a third-party tradesperson, the panels should first be checked by the purchaser.
The warranty applies to all domestic and most commercial installations. Please contact Sourcecorp for verification if the product is to be utilised in exceptionally high use installations, such as public use shower blocks.
This warranty does not confer any rights other than those provided in the Fibo warranty document.
At our discretion we will rectify the problem or replace the faulty products(s). We will only cover a claim for refitting costs under exceptional circumstances where a defective product was installed by a Fibo accredited installer.
Claimants may elect to receive a cash settlement for their successful warranty claim.
The warranty does not cover claims due to:
- Faulty installation by a third-party installer;
- Accidental damage after delivery;
- Misuse or use in an inappropriate setting (such as outdoors);
- Inappropriate storage;
- Structural movement of the building;
- Incorrect maintenance including the use of inappropriate cleaning materials such as bleach or abrasives. Refer to Fibo Cleaning and Maintenance instructions [link to Cleaning and maintenance document]
Claims for indirect and consequential loss or damage are specifically excluded.
The Fibo warranty does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
All claims must be presented to Sourcecorp who will respond directly to the claimant. The warranty explains the process for making a claim and what happens thereafter including the timing for completing a claim.
Given Fibo is new to Australia, to date we have not had to process a single claim. Over the past 60 years Fibo in Norway has had very few claims.
Sourcecorp Victoria is liable to settle all approved Australian warranty claims. Sourcecorp holds product and public liability insurance of $20 million. Under the Australian distribution agreement, Fibo AS in Norway underwrites Sourcecorp for Australian product warranty claims
